CHILD - The National Infertility Support Network CHILD is the national infertility support network in the UK. They offer that support in 2 ways, both practically and emotionally. They offer over 40 factsheets on all aspects of infertility, plus other options, a quarterly magazine called CHILDchat, books that can be purchased from CHILD at the same price as in the shops with no postage & packing charges and Medical Advisers who are infertility specialists to whom their members can write for advice. They offer emotional support by way of helplines, manned by people who are members of CHILD and who are happy to share experiences and information with others, local support groups wherever someone is kind enough to volunteer to run one and local telephone contacts. They also run regional information days for patients, as well as co-organising the recent National Infertility Day. CHILD has Regional offices as well as a head office. Membership is not a prerequisite for their assistance.

New Mum Support
Happy Mums Happy Mums was set up by Emma McCulloch. Emma has two children and after having an emergency caesarean section with her second child she would have loved some extra help around the home. Emma found that due to not being able to drive or do heavy housework her home wasn't to the standard she liked and not running as smoothly as it was before the birth. It was during this time that she decided that she should help other mums who are in a similar situation and thats how she came up with the idea of Happy Mums.
